सबहेड: एनटीपीसी सीपत द्वारा वित्तपोषित सुपर स्पेशियलिटी हॉस्पिटल का रक्त केंद्र छत्तीसगढ़ का अपनी तरह का पहला सबसे आधुनिक ब्लड बैंक है, जिसमें विश्वस्तरीय मशीनें लगाई गई हैं।
दिनांक 26 अप्रैल 2026 को बिलासपुर में आयोजित कार्यक्रम में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में श्री तोखन साहू जी, माननीय केंद्रीय राज्य मंत्री, आवासन एवं शहरी कार्य मंत्रालय एवं सांसद (बिलासपुर) ने एनटीपीसी सीपत द्वारा सीएसआर कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत लगभग 7.19 करोड़ रुपये की राशि से विकसित चिकित्सा सुविधाओं का लोकार्पण किया। इस पहल के तहत बिलासपुर के दो प्रमुख चिकित्सा संस्थानों—कुमार साहब स्वर्गीय श्री दिलीप सिंह जूदेव जी शासकीय सुपर स्पेशियलिटी हॉस्पिटल तथा छत्तीसगढ़ आयुर्विज्ञान संस्थान (सिम्स) को उन्नत उपकरणों एवं मजबूत इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर की सौगात मिली।
इस अवसर पर एनटीपीसी सीपत द्वारा प्रदान की गई लगभग 4.27 करोड़ रुपये की राशि से शासकीय सुपर स्पेशियलिटी हॉस्पिटल में स्थापित अत्याधुनिक रक्त कोष, माइक्रोबायोलॉजी लैब, हार्मोन लैब एवं एआई-आधारित माइक्रोस्कोपी का उद्घाटन किया गया। यह रक्त केंद्र छत्तीसगढ़ का अपनी तरह का पहला अत्याधुनिक ब्लड बैंक है, जिसमें एडवांस्ड मशीनें स्थापित की गई हैं, जिससे जांच एवं उपचार सेवाएं और बेहतर होंगी।
इसके साथ ही सिम्स, बिलासपुर द्वारा 2.92 करोड़ रुपये की सीएसआर राशि से खरीदी गई मशीनों का लोकार्पण किया गया तथा एनटीपीसी सीपत एवं सिम्स के मध्य मशीनों के हस्तांतरण से संबंधित औपचारिक दस्तावेजों का आदान-प्रदान किया गया। इस वित्तीय सहायता से सिम्स द्वारा लगभग 8 विभागों के लिए कुल 26 मशीनें खरीदी गई हैं, जिनमें हाई-एंड कलर डॉप्लर, ऑटोमैटिक केमिल्यूमिनेसेंस, एचपीएलसी, सी-आर्म, ओटी टेबल, डेंटल चेयर, मॉर्चुरी फ्रीजर, एमओ2 फ्रैक्शनल लेजर सिस्टम तथा एसीटी मशीन जैसी महत्वपूर्ण मशीनें शामिल हैं।

कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करते हुए मुख्य अतिथि माननीय केंद्रीय राज्य मंत्री श्री तोखन साहू जी ने एनटीपीसी सीपत का आभार व्यक्त कर धन्यवाद दिया और इस पहल को छत्तीसगढ़ के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण योगदान बताया। उन्होंने कहा कि एनटीपीसी सीपत द्वारा सीएसआर के तहत स्वास्थ्य क्षेत्र में किया गया यह सहयोग सराहनीय है, जिससे राज्य में चिकित्सा सुविधाएं सुदृढ़ होंगी। अत्याधुनिक ब्लड बैंक, उन्नत लैब सुविधाओं एवं आधुनिक उपकरणों से मरीजों को समय पर और बेहतर उपचार उपलब्ध होगा और इस प्रकार की पहलें जनसेवा के साथ-साथ विकास को गति देती हैं। उन्होंने विश्वास व्यक्त किया कि इन स्वास्थ्य सुविधाओं से बिलासपुर सहित आसपास के सभी क्षेत्रों के लोगों को व्यापक लाभ मिलेगा।
डॉ. भानु प्रताप सिंह, निदेशक, प्रोफेसर एवं मेडिकल सुपरिंटेंडेंट, सुपर स्पेशलिटी हॉस्पिटल, ने सभी उपस्थित अतिथियों को जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि यह रक्त केंद्र डॉक्टरों और टेक्नीशियंस को प्रशिक्षित करने के लिए एक अल्ट्रा मॉडर्न ब्लड बैंक है, जिसमें पूरी प्रक्रिया कंप्यूटरीकृत कर ऑनलाइन की गई है। इससे जांच में पारदर्शिता बनी रहेगी और मरीजों तथा मॉनिटरिंग सिस्टम के बीच बेहतर इंटरफेस संभव होगा।
उन्होंने बताया कि इस ब्लड बैंक में एसडीपी (Single Donor Platelet) की सुविधा उपलब्ध होगी, जिसके माध्यम से कैंसर, डेंगू एवं अन्य गंभीर बीमारियों से ग्रसित मरीजों को एक ही डोनर से प्लेटलेट्स उपलब्ध कराई जा सकेंगी। इसके साथ ही, अस्पताल में एफ़ेरेसिस मशीन, उन्नत माइक्रोबायोलॉजी उपकरणों एवं आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस आधारित माइक्रोस्कोप के माध्यम से सामान्य रक्त जांच के साथ-साथ ब्लड कैंसर जैसी जटिल बीमारियों की भी सटीक एवं त्वरित जांच संभव हो सकेगी। ऐसी मशीनें देश के कुछ चुनिंदा संस्थानों में ही उपलब्ध हैं।
श्री रमणेश मूर्ति,डीन, सिम्स ने कहा कि एनटीपीसी सीपत की सहायता से कई महत्वपूर्ण मशीनें अस्पताल में स्थापित की गई हैं, जिनके माध्यम से जटिल बीमारियों की जांच और उपचार अब स्थानीय स्तर पर ही संभव हो सकेगा, जिससे मरीजों को बाहर जाने की आवश्यकता कम होगी।
इस अवसर पर उपस्थित सभी जनों ने एनटीपीसी सीपत के सीएसआर कार्यों की सराहना करते हुए इसे सामुदायिक विकास और स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं के सुदृढ़ीकरण की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण पहल बताया। उन्होंने कहा कि इससे बिलासपुर सहित आसपास के क्षेत्रों के लोगों को बेहतर एवं सुलभ चिकित्सा सुविधाएं प्राप्त होंगी।

Hon’ble Union Minister of State Shri Tokhan Sahu Inaugurates NTPC Sipat CSR Projects Worth Rs. 7.19 Crore; Government Super Speciality Hospital and CIMS Receive Advanced Medical Facilities
Subhead: The blood centre at the Super Speciality Hospital, supported by NTPC Sipat, is the first and most advanced of its kind in Chhattisgarh, equipped with world-class machines.
On 26 April 2026, in Bilaspur, healthcare facilities developed with CSR support of approximately Rs. 7.19 crore from NTPC Sipat were inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Shri Tokhan Sahu, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs and Member of Parliament, Bilaspur. Under this initiative, two major medical institutions in Bilaspur- Kumar Saheb Late Shri Dilip Singh Judev Government Super Speciality Hospital and the Chhattisgarh Institute of Medical Sciences (CIMS), have been strengthened with advanced equipment.
On this occasion, facilities established at the Government Super Speciality Hospital at a cost of around Rs. 4.27 crore were inaugurated, including an Advanced Blood Centre, Microbiology laboratory, Hormone laboratory, and AI-based Microscopy system. This blood centre is the first of its kind in Chhattisgarh and has been equipped with advanced machines, which will significantly enhance diagnostic and treatment services.
In addition, equipment procured by CIMS through NTPC Sipat’s CSR support of Rs. 2.92 crore was also inaugurated. Formal documents related to the transfer of machines between NTPC Sipat and CIMS were exchanged during the programme. With this financial assistance, CIMS has procured a total of 26 machines for approximately eight departments, including high-end colour Doppler, automatic chemiluminescence system, HPLC, C-arm, OT tables, dental chairs, mortuary freezer, MO₂ fractional laser system, and ACT machines.
Distinguished guests present at the programme included Shri Dharamlal Kaushik, Hon’ble MLA, Bilha; Shri Amar Agrawal, Hon’ble MLA, Bilaspur; Smt. Pooja Vidhani, Hon’ble Mayor, Bilaspur; Shri Rajesh Suryavanshi, President, Zila Panchayat, Bilaspur; Shri Sanjay Agrawal, IAS, Collector, Bilaspur; and from NTPC Sipat, Shri Swapan Kumar Mandal, Project Head; Shri Ramanesh Murthy, Dean, CIMS, Bilaspur; Dr. Bhanu Pratap Singh, Director, Professor and Medical Superintendent, Super Speciality Hospital; Dr. Lakhan Singh, Medical Superintendent, CIMS; Shri Jayprakash Satyakam, Head of Department (HR), NTPC Sipat; Shri Bhavnish Saman, Chief Medical Officer, NTPC Sipat, along with other officials of NTPC Sipat.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest, Shri Tokhan Sahu, Hon’ble Union Minister of State, expressed his gratitude and thanked NTPC Sipat and described the initiative as a significant contribution to Chhattisgarh. He stated that NTPC Sipat’s CSR support in the healthcare sector is commendable and will strengthen medical facilities across the state. He noted that advanced blood banking systems, upgraded laboratory facilities, and modern equipment will ensure timely and improved treatment for patients, and such initiatives accelerate development alongside public service. He expressed confidence that these healthcare facilities will greatly benefit people in Bilaspur and surrounding areas.
Dr. Bhanu Pratap Singh, Director , Professor and Medical Superintendent, Super Speciality Hospital, informed that the blood centre is an ultra-modern facility designed for training doctors and technicians, with the entire process fully computerized and available online. This will ensure transparency in testing and provide a better interface between patients and the monitoring system.
He further stated that the blood bank will provide Single Donor Platelet (SDP) facility, enabling platelets to be sourced from a single donor for patients suffering from cancer, dengue, and other serious diseases. Additionally, with the installation of an apheresis machine, advanced microbiology equipment, and AI-based microscopy, accurate and rapid diagnosis of both routine blood tests and complex diseases such as blood cancer will be possible. Such advanced facilities are available only at select institutions in the country.
Dr. Ramanesh Murthy, Dean, CIMS, Bilaspur; stated that the machines provided through NTPC Sipat’s CSR support will significantly strengthen healthcare services. He added that improved diagnostic capabilities and availability of advanced equipment will ensure timely and better treatment for patients. He also noted that several critical machines have been installed, enabling diagnosis and treatment of complex diseases at the local level, thereby reducing the need for patients to travel outside the region.
All dignitaries present appreciated NTPC Sipat’s CSR initiatives and termed them a significant step towards strengthening community development and healthcare services. They observed that these efforts will enhance access to quality and affordable healthcare for people in Bilaspur and surrounding areas.
