SECL Launches ‘Swachhata Pakhwada 2026’ with Cleanliness Pledge: khabar 36 Garh is news Raipur Chhattisgarh

khabar 36 Garh is news bilaspur: As part of the Government of India’s Swachh Bharat Mission, Swachhata Pakhwada 2026 (16 June–30 June 2026) commenced at SECL Headquarters on 16 June 2026 with a cleanliness pledge ceremony.
On this occasion, SECL Chairman-cum-Managing Director Shri Harish Duhan administered the Swachhata Pledge to employees and stakeholders at the Visitors’ Hall of the Administrative Building, SECL Headquarters, in the presence of Director (Technical/Operations) Shri N. Franklin Jayakumar, Director (Finance) Shri D. Sunil Kumar, Chief Vigilance Officer Shri Himanshu Jain, Director (Technical) Project & Planning, Shri Ramesh Chandra Mohapatra, Heads of Departments, officers, employees, and representatives of labour unions. A large number of employees and union representatives participated in the programme.
Addressing the gathering, Shri Duhan emphasized that cleanliness is an integral part of institutional culture as well as a social responsibility. He urged all employees to actively contribute towards creating a clean and healthy environment. He stated that the objectives of a Clean India can be achieved effectively only through active public participation and collective efforts.
It may be noted that during the Swachhata Pakhwada, various cleanliness drives, awareness programmes, and participatory activities will be organized across all SECL units and establishments to promote cleanliness awareness and encourage greater public involvement.
